Essentially by the end of term two myself and three girls (my group) will have created our own fragrance brand, something we believe is missing from the market within the world of fragrance.
To begin with our group have been looking at scent trends within the media - something I haven't done before now as I usually question why magazines can be so expensive when they are filled with advertisements but after this project I quite enjoyed flicking through the advertisements for inspiration.
Together we explored four main themes throughout fragrance currently.
1. Sensuality and Indulgence: Models often seen within the adverts seductive, exotic or passionate.
2. Trust and Honesty: Showing signs of spirituality, authentic and natural.
3. Humour and Kitsch: Offering a sense of theatrical movement, irony and wit.
4. Tradition and Heritage: Oozing romance, class and giving a vintage feel.
